O List is a professional tool designed for orienteering event organisers and competition staff. The app allows users to load a start list and search it by class or by SPORTident card number.
O List does not collect, request, store, transmit, or infer any personal information about the device user. It does not collect age, accounts, contact details, analytics data, advertising identifiers, or location data. The app does not require creating or signing in to any user account.
O List processes event start list data for the purpose of enabling search and lookup during an orienteering event. Start list data may be loaded in two ways:
This event data may contain competitor information such as name, club, class, start time, and SPORTident card number. The app processes this information solely on the device to enable its functionality.
O List can also read a SPORTident card number from a connected SPORTident station in order to look up competitors in the loaded start list.
The app does not access other files on the device and does not access location, contacts, camera, microphone, telephony, or other personal device data.
O List may connect to the OFeed service to download start list data using an event identifier provided by the user. This request retrieves event data but does not transmit any information about the device user or the device itself.
Apart from downloading start lists when requested by the user, O List does not communicate with external servers or services.
O List contains no advertising, no in-app tracking, no third-party analytics SDKs, no behavioural profiling, and no cookies or similar tracking technologies. The app does not personalise content or features based on behaviour, identity, or demographics.
O List does not target children. It does not collect or infer age, does not provide age-dependent features, does not change behaviour based on age, and does not contain child-directed content.
Event data loaded into O List remains on the device and is used only for the app’s functionality. The user may remove this data at any time by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
Start list data is processed locally on the device after being downloaded or loaded by the user. O List does not store data on remote servers. The user is responsible for protecting physical access to their device.
This privacy policy may be updated as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected in this document.
